Braden Koksal, also known as Braden Alec Michael, is an award-winning composer and producer whose music blends ambient, industrial, IDM, and experimental.

Braden began emerging in the TV and film space with his solo album series Mirrored Fields, which gained attention from trailer music libraries such as Sencit Music and Sotie Music. In 2024, he released his debut trailer music EP, Lost Truths, with Sencit Music. In 2025, he released multiple trailer music albums with Sotie Music, including a collaboration with the Grammy Award-winning instrumental guitar trio The String Revolution. His music has also been featured on CBC Radio-Canada alongside composers such as Olafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, and Voces8.

Beyond albums, Braden has scored features, short films, and various other visual media projects. In 2025, he was awarded the SOCAN Foundation’s Best Original Score in the fiction category for his work on the horror feature film For God’s Sake Wake Her Up, which he co-composed with award-winning composer Julien Verschooris. Later that year, Braden was selected by the SOCAN Foundation to compose music for a video game at Ubisoft Montreal.

Braden is driven by a passion for experimentation, breaking conventional rules, and blending genres. Through sound design and unconventional recording techniques, he continues to explore new soundscapes as his music evolves.
